There are events in life where you have an epiphany. You realize what you must do to turn things around for your own good, or figure out how to do things in a whole now and fulfilling way. Or maybe you learn that with all the negative things life has thrown at us, there is a reason for us to hang in there and keep doing what we're doing. Could be that we understand that as bad as things are for you and the people close to you, you can forgive the wrongs that have been done to you, you can heal yourself and others around you too, because once your life ends, people will look at the accomplishments you've made with your time spent on this earth and remember you fondly for what you meant to them and for the way you've left a part of your very essence with them to carry on. Kinda like being immortal, in a way. Share your happiness, what makes you happy, with others and be remembered. Keep positive, share your soul with friends, family and maybe even strangers, they will do the same in return.
I'm starting to realize these kind of things lately for myself, it's a good feeling of spiritual renewal of some kind.
Today is the memorial of Arnaldo "Andy" Robles. An excellent artist, friend and human being. His work here is done, and I think he would and should be proud of it. In loving memory of all that you have done for me and my soul, rest peacefully my friend, thanks for extending your hand out to me and touching my life and so many others who knew you as well.
That was really touching. Really. Sometimes, when something big happens, it can change the way we see the life. I can relate to that feeling as i've seen one of my friends pass away many years ago. Sometimes we get hurt, yes. But that doesn't mean we should stop evolving as human beings and make great things.
Arnaldo "Andy" Robles, I salute you . Be at peace man.
You really know how to expand out to others with your words. They really touch people and are really great to help encourage and move people forward. I really hope he is in a good place.
You know, it's one thing to simply comment on a piece for what it is to the eyes, but it's an entirely different feeling when a certain piece presents a purpose as deep as the one you've come up with here. It's hard to explain, but your words and your efforts here have managed to create an 'aura' that's hard to ignore and all too easy to understand and relate to. More so than simply saying what is right and could have been improved with the work you've done here, it's only right to compliment on how this tribute to someone that has had such an impact on you is really moving.
Try as I might, I can't even come up with anything even remotely close to say that would do your efforts justice here. Just know that I think that you're using your skills in a way that we all should make use of whatever we learn at some point or another. That's really saying about as much as I can tell you. It's difficult not to respect you as a person when you're willing and seemingly so proud to do something like this.
This is so beautiful. Even though he's gone, I'm sure he's happy you've made this in his honor. As much as he's joined that art community in the sky, he'll be looking down on us in keeping the world he's loved and left behind, live on in harmony. He would want that very much. R.I.P. Andy....Miss U 4Ever.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
